Tutajua Academy is open for enrolment: two 13-module courses in Laravel and Next.js, taught live and virtually every Saturday. See our teaching…

Most coding courses teach you to write code in isolation — a tutorial series, a few exercises, maybe a toy project. They rarely teach you what happens after: how to provision the server your app runs on, how to secure it, or how to actually ship something to production. That gap is what Tutajua Academy is built to close.

We’re opening enrolment for two courses, taught live and virtually every Saturday by the same team that builds Tutajua’s own products.

AI-Powered Full Stack: VPS to Laravel

A 13-module course that starts at a blank Ubuntu server and ends at a scaled, AI-integrated Laravel 11 production environment. You’ll work through SSH configuration, DNS and domain setup, the LAMP stack, server hardening, relational database design, and Laravel fundamentals — routing, Eloquent, Blade, authentication, and the service pattern for clean business logic — before moving into AI-assisted development workflows, caching, SSL, and deployment. The course ends with a capstone project: a full digital photography platform with albums, user profiles, and an AI-assisted admin dashboard.

Modern Full-Stack JavaScript (Next.js Edition)

Also 13 modules, covering the same infrastructure-first approach applied to the modern JavaScript stack: Node.js and pnpm, server hardening, the Next.js 15 App Router, Prisma ORM, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui, authentication with Auth.js, and testing with Jest and Playwright. Like the Laravel course, it closes with a capstone project — a high-performance, SEO-optimised digital gallery, deployed and managed with PM2.

See Our Teaching Style First

Before you commit to a course, you can see how we actually teach. We’ve been publishing training videos on our Tutajua eLearning YouTube channel for a while — including these two:

The live Saturday classes go deeper than these videos and include the capstone project and direct Q&A, but they’ll give you a real sense of how we explain things before you enrol.

How It Works

Both courses run R1,500 per month, billed only for as long as you’re enrolled — once you’ve completed the course, billing stops. Classes are live and virtual, every Saturday, so you can join from anywhere.

Getting Started

If you’re ready to move past tutorials and actually build and ship production systems, take a look at both courses and enrol on the Tutajua Academy page, or get in touch if you have questions about which course fits you best.
