Not Upsells —
Included By Default
Every BCloudHub package, on both product families, ships with the same operational baseline from the Starter tier upward — because the alternative is finding out what's missing during an incident.
Full Monitoring & Alerting
Prometheus, Grafana, Blackbox Exporter and Alertmanager on a dedicated subdomain, watching backend availability, SSL certificate expiry, disk, CPU and node health.
Active Health-Checked Failover
Unhealthy nodes are pulled out of rotation automatically — no manual intervention required to keep serving traffic while something is fixed.
TLS Verified End-To-End
Every leg is terminated and re-encrypted against a package-issued internal CA, from Starter upward — not retrofitted once you ask for it.
Traffic Stays Inside The VPN Mesh
Replication and internal routing never touch a public IP behind a firewall allow-rule — everything rides a dedicated VPN mesh between your nodes.
Secrets Out Of Your Configs
Credentials load from .env/vault at deploy time. Nothing sits inline in a docker-compose.yml or a repository, ever.
CI/CD-Driven Deploys
Atomic deploys across every app node plus object storage for uploads on App LB, and a pre-migration health-check gate on Database LB that blocks migrations against an unhealthy replica.
One Managed Pattern,
Sized To Your Tier
Apache-fronted app nodes, containerised database clustering, and a proxy layer that keeps unhealthy nodes out of rotation — the same underlying topology underpins every BCloudHub package, from a two-node Starter pair up to Enterprise active/active routing.
- Apache
mod_proxy_balancerhealth-checked failover at the front - Dockerised, VPN-meshed clustering behind the proxy layer
- The same template scales from Starter to Enterprise — no rebuild between tiers
Managed MySQL/MariaDB
High Availability
Three tiers, minimum two VPN-networked nodes per package, fully managed. Every tier ships with 14-day binlog retention, VPN-routed replication, and replica-side metrics as the default — not an upsell.
Starter
The minimum viable HA pair
- 1 master + 1 replica, GTID async replication
- VPN-meshed between both nodes
- Managed replication, monitoring & alerting from day one
Growth
Closes the single-point-of-failure gap
- All Starter features
- Master + replica + hot standby
- Replica-side metrics on every node
- Live replication alerting — lag, thread-down, binlog-purge-risk
Enterprise
A different build, not a bigger Growth
- 3–4 nodes, MySQL Router + Group Replication or ProxySQL
- 2+ active LB hosts — no single LB point of failure
- Dedicated internal CA, DB-side query routing
Starter & Growth prices shown are the ceiling for that tier — final cost is confirmed at scoping and may land lower. Enterprise is always custom-quoted. No VAT is charged.
Managed Application-Server
High Availability
Three tiers, minimum two dedicated app nodes per package — sized lighter than Database LB since app-serving is CPU/RAM-bound rather than storage-I/O-bound. Stack selection (PHP/Apache, Node/JS, or other) is scoped with you directly, not picked from a dropdown.
Starter
Genuinely separate from your DB role
- 2 dedicated app nodes, not shared with a DB role
- Apache mod_proxy_balancer, sticky ROUTEID cookie
- Active health checks, managed monitoring & TLS from the start
Growth
Closes the single-point-of-failure gap
- All Starter features
- 2 active app nodes + 1 hot standby
- Full node metrics across all three nodes
Enterprise
LB redundancy, not routing complexity
- 3–4 nodes, 2+ active LB hosts — no LB single point of failure
- NVMe tier for asset-heavy or high-concurrency apps
- Custom-scoped to your stack and traffic profile
Starter & Growth prices shown are the ceiling for that tier — final cost is confirmed at scoping and may land lower. Enterprise is always custom-quoted. No VAT is charged.

Questions
A flat R1,500 across every Starter and Growth package, on both Database LB and App LB. It's standardised because it reflects real load-balancer, replication, and monitoring configuration work — not bare server provisioning. Enterprise treats R1,500 as a floor; real quotes scale with node count and scope.
The full monitoring stack, TLS verified end-to-end against a package-issued internal CA, VPN-meshed internal traffic, and secrets loaded from .env/vault are baseline on every tier, including Starter — see the Included section above for the full list.
Database LB is managed MySQL/MariaDB high availability — replication, failover, and replica-side monitoring. App LB is managed high availability for your application layer — multiple app nodes behind a health-checked load balancer. Many customers run both together.
Apache mod_proxy_balancer with a PHP-style backend is the proven entry pattern today. Nginx, HAProxy, and other backend runtimes are scoped per customer — tell us about your stack when you request a quote and we'll confirm fit before anything is provisioned.
Yes. Every package, on both product families, ships with a minimum of two VPN-networked nodes. There is no single-node package sold as "high availability."
There's no VAT to add. Tutajua (Pty) Ltd, the company behind BCloudHub, is not currently a registered VAT vendor, so the ZAR prices shown are what you pay. Starter and Growth prices shown are the ceiling for that tier, confirmed exactly at scoping; Enterprise is always custom-quoted.
Yes. Every tier is built from the same underlying package template, so moving up is a scoped upgrade — adding a hot-standby node and wiring in the next tier's monitoring — rather than a rebuild from scratch.
Let's Scope Your Package
Book a short consultation or send a request — we'll confirm topology, node count, and final pricing before anything is provisioned. No numeric commitment until you've seen the scope.
Prices in ZAR. No VAT charged — Tutajua (Pty) Ltd is not currently a registered VAT vendor.
